Terms of Use MTA Portal Central

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing and using the MTA Portal Central platform (mtaportalcentral.com), you agree to these Terms of Use. These terms apply to all services, including the interoperability standards and data linkages for Medical Technology Assessments. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Purpose and Use of the Platform

MTA Portal Central develops and provides interoperability standards for academic hospitals, with the aim of quantitatively validating the clinical effectiveness of new imaging techniques (MRI/CT). The platform is intended solely for professional, non-commercial use within medical informatics. Use for patient portals, appointment scheduling, or health insurance-related activities is explicitly prohibited.

3. Rights and Responsibilities

The user is responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data linked via the platform from PACS and EHR systems. MTA Portal Central reserves all intellectual property rights to the standards, software, and documentation. The user obtains a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for use in accordance with these terms.

4. Data and Privacy

The platform is designed for anonymous, aggregated research data. Users are themselves responsible for complying with the GDPR and other applicable legislation when processing patient data. MTA Portal Central acts as a data processor and does not store personal data itself. Consult our Privacy Policy for more information.

5. Availability and Support

We strive for maximum platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Support is provided via the designated contact form. We reserve the right to temporarily take the platform offline for maintenance or updates, without liability for any resulting damage.

6. Limitation of Liability

MTA Portal Central is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, or data loss arising from the use of the platform or the implemented standards. Liability is in any case limited to the amount the user has paid in fees over the past year. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.
